We recently traveled to New York City with my sister and her daughter. It was such a wonderful time exploring the city! I have heard people talked about all the must-eat bagels, so I just had to try them.
First one we tried was Liberty Bagel. It was near where we stayed, at the Grand Central station in Midtown. The options available were unbelievable! There were so many options for the cream cheese and bagel combinations.
The kids loved the birthday cake cream cheese. It tasted just like frosting! Haha. It was like a dessert.
The second bagel shop we tried was Apollo Bagels.
There were only 6 bagel options. Great for someone who can’t decide.
I ordered Everything Bagel with cream cheese. It was very chewy! I could taste the tangyness from the sourdough! I thought I was imagining it but found out later it’s made with natural yeast.
I like this bagel very much. The bagel itself is so tasty!
I asked the kids if they preferred Liberty Bagel or Apollo Bagel, and both of them said they liked the Rainbow Bagel more because it’s sweeter.
I think you would like Liberty Bagel if you are adventurous. For me, Liberty Bagel was more like a dessert, while Apollo Bagel was like a meal.
